Despite being in hospital for three days in Rio, Vicky was part of the Archery team that achieved a historic 1, 2, 3 in the Paralympic W1 archery event.
Vicky said: "I've got a neurological problem, I woke up on Monday, I couldn't move and I was in more pain than usual. The doctors here did everything they could and in the end it was getting pretty serious so they sent me off to the hospital. And then we came this morning (Saturday) to see whether I could pull my bow back and to see whether I could shoot. It looked okay and not too painful. And so I just went for it really."
The club is immensely proud of Vicky and her achievement despite what she has been through she always comes out smiling and is a true ambassador for our sport.
